1. Agreement to Terms

By placing an order through this website ("the Service"), you ("Customer", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). The Service is provided by Iago Rodrigues, operating under the trade names "Volunteers of Lourdes" and "Ministry of Devotions" (collectively, "we", "us", "our"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Volunteers of Lourdes is a paid volunteer service that prints customer-submitted prayer petitions, hand-delivers them to the Petition Box at the public Grotto of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes (France), and emails the customer a photograph as confirmation of delivery.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representative of the official Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes, the Catholic Church, the Diocese of Tarbes-Lourdes, or any religious institution.

3. Three Tiers Available

• Lourdes Prayer Circle ($28 USD): Basic prayer delivery + photo confirmation, up to 5,000 characters per prayer.
• Volunteers of Lourdes Prayer Circle ($35 USD): Includes a personalized prayer reading by a volunteer at the Grotto, digital prayer card, and priority delivery.
• Sacred Pilgrim ($55 USD): Includes a 35-page bonus PDF "A Pilgrim's Guide to Lourdes", a 12-month monthly devotional newsletter, and up to 3 prayer petitions in a single submission.

Each tier is a one-time purchase. There are no recurring charges, no automatic renewals, and no subscriptions.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in United States Dollars (USD). All payments are processed by Digistore24 Inc. ("Digistore24"), our authorized payment provider. The legal contract for the payment is governed by Digistore24's terms, which apply automatically at checkout. The charge will appear on your statement as "Ministry of Devotions" or "Digistore24".

We do not collect, store, or process credit card information directly. All sensitive payment data is handled by Digistore24's PCI-compliant infrastructure.

5. Order Acceptance & Delivery

Orders are processed in the sequence they are received and included in our next monthly trip to the Sanctuary. Trips occur once per calendar month, typically during the first week. After our trip, photo confirmation is sent to your registered email address within 7 business days.

If you place an order between trips, your prayer is automatically included in the very next monthly delivery. Maximum delivery time from purchase to photo confirmation is approximately 35 calendar days.

6. Customer Responsibilities

You agree that:

• You will provide accurate and complete information at checkout (full name, valid email).
• The prayer petition you submit is your own original content, or you have permission to submit it.
• Your prayer will not contain hate speech, threats, illegal content, advertising, or content that is obscene or harmful to minors.
• You will not use the Service to defame, harass, or harm any third party.

We reserve the right to refuse delivery and issue a full refund if a submitted prayer violates these guidelines.

7. Refund Policy

We offer a 60-day money-back guarantee. Full details, including how to request a refund, are available in our Refund Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The website, brand names "Volunteers of Lourdes" and "Ministry of Devotions", photographs we send you, written content, the bonus PDF "A Pilgrim's Guide to Lourdes", and the monthly newsletter remain the intellectual property of Iago Rodrigues. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them for your private spiritual reflection.

The text of your prayer petition remains yours. We use it only to fulfill the Service (printing and delivering) and we destroy our internal copy after delivery is complete.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Volunteers of Lourdes / Iago Rodrigues shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of:

• Any spiritual, physical, emotional, or financial outcome (or absence thereof) from the Service.
• Delays in delivery caused by force majeure events (weather, public-health restrictions on access to the Sanctuary, transportation issues, postal delays).
• Email delivery failures due to spam filters, full inboxes, or invalid email addresses.
• Any decision you take, or refrain from taking, based on materials received from us.

The Service is not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. If you are facing a serious health condition, mental health challenge, financial decision, or legal matter, please consult a licensed professional in the relevant field.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Iago Rodrigues, Volunteers of Lourdes, Ministry of Devotions, and our affiliates from any claim, loss, or damage arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend the Service to any customer who violates these Terms, with or without prior notice. In the event of termination, refunds are issued in accordance with our Refund Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email to active customers when reasonably possible.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of the Comarca of Águas Lindas de Goiás, State of Goiás, Brazil — provided that consumer-protection rights granted to you by the laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.

For payment-related disputes, you may also seek resolution directly through Digistore24 Inc., the payment processor, in accordance with Digistore24's own terms.
