About Our Service

A simple promise from a small group of volunteers.

Volunteers of Lourdes is a faith-led volunteer service operating under Ministry of Devotions. Once a month, our team travels to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes in France to deliver written prayer petitions sent to us by people from around the world.

We place each prayer in the Petition Box shown in the photo — located on the left side as you enter the Grotto of Massabielle. This is the same place where pilgrims have been leaving written petitions since the apparitions of Saint Bernadette Soubirous in 1858.

We are not affiliated with the official Sanctuary of Lourdes, the Diocese of Tarbes-Lourdes, or the Catholic Church. We are simply independent Catholics who felt called to help others participate in this centuries-old tradition.

You write your prayer

After choosing a service option, you'll write your prayer petition through a simple form. You can include yourself or someone you love.

We hand-deliver it

On the second Friday of each month, our volunteers print your prayer and place it personally in the Petition Box on the left side of the Grotto of Massabielle — the same place pilgrims have left prayers since 1858.

You receive a photo

Within 7 days of our trip, you'll receive an email with a photograph showing your prayer placed at the Grotto, as proof of delivery.

Are you affiliated with the official Sanctuary of Lourdes?
No. We are an independent group of volunteers operating under the umbrella of Ministry of Devotions. We are not employees, representatives, or partners of the official Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes. We simply visit the public Grotto each month — anyone is free to do the same.
How long does it take to receive my photo confirmation?
Our trips happen once a month, typically during the first week. After we visit the Grotto, you'll receive your email with the photo within 7 business days. If you order between trips, your prayer is included in the very next monthly visit.
What does my service fee actually cover?
The service fee covers the cost of printing each prayer on quality paper, our volunteers' travel and time, on-site photography of every petition, the email infrastructure used to send confirmations, and the digital materials included in higher tiers. We are transparent about this — this is a paid volunteer service, not a charitable donation. Your purchase is a transactional service, not tax-deductible.
Do you guarantee a specific outcome from my prayer?
No. We make no promises about specific spiritual, physical or emotional outcomes. We do not claim any healing power, miracle, or supernatural effect from our service. What we guarantee is the operational delivery: your prayer will be printed, placed at the Grotto, photographed, and sent to you — or your money back. Anything beyond that is between you and your faith.
Is this a substitute for medical, legal, or psychological care?
Absolutely not. If you are facing a serious health condition, mental health challenge, or legal matter, please consult a licensed healthcare professional, therapist, or attorney. Our service is a religious devotional act and is provided for spiritual and personal reflection purposes only.
How do refunds work?
We offer a 60-day money-back guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied — whether you change your mind, didn't receive your photo on time, or have any other concern — write to contact@lourdescircle.com and we'll process a full refund through Digistore24, no questions asked. Refund requests can also be initiated directly with Digistore24 Inc., our payment provider.
How is my payment processed?
All payments are processed by Digistore24 Inc. (360 Central Avenue, Suite 800, St. Petersburg, FL 33701, USA), a regulated payment provider. We never see or store your card information. The charge will appear on your statement as "Ministry of Devotions" or "Digistore24."
Will my prayer be kept private?
Yes. Only the small handful of volunteers who handle the printing and delivery will see your prayer text. Your prayer is destroyed (placed in the Petition Box at the Grotto) on the day of delivery. We do not publish, share or store prayer content beyond the time needed to print and deliver it.
